Yeah, I admit you are right. But in my case, I didnt just wire up some batteries, I wired up an auxiliary solar circuit to nearly every room of my house. I loved it. Went in full fist.
I was mostly speaking of adding a 16s bank on a shelf to an existing bus bar and system. 1 hour. On a shelf.
:)
Figured Id share the pic
Keep in mind the ONLY reason I was able to capture this much is because of my 2300 watt load at that time.
I imagine I would have gotten a smidge more if I had more load, But the charge circuit maxes at 125 amps and 6153 is pretty much there.
No, if you have the correct wire gauge and breaker its all fine and PREFERRED.
You dont really want to charge via AC if you can help it. You will lose about 10% for the ac/dc conversion. Its best to bypass until solar is charging.
I feel like you are in my shoes. I just ordered my second 6000xp to run in parallel so I can have 100 amp pass thru and 50 amps on battery.
I do not plan on running my clothes dryer but now I can run my water heater and central air with no worries about what else is running to a large extent on...
You will probably hate that inverter in there. This box is simply their 48v 3500 watt inverter and 2 of their 48v 50Ah batteries stuffed in a case.

YES that looks right on target for a 17 amp draw on a 400 Ah battery.
You may not know, but If you charge a lifepo4 single cell to 100% It will (hopefully) stop charging when the cell reaches 3.65 and then if undisturbed with zero load it would settle around 3.45 or so.
This means that 3.33...
This is an odd statement. Flexible is not needed necessarily. Anything moving needs flexible, thats about it.
Recommending Awg 4 for an entire system is potentially inadequate for safety or too much money for an application. You need to know the numbers. I dont think you will find anyone using...
You dont make the cut from age. :) You make the cut because you enjoy challenge/risk/reward. My comment was a generalization that may or may not pertain to people under 30 lol
This may be your clue. This could be caused by SOC drift or perhaps they were never balanced to start with tho from the max voltage at time of event, this doesnt seem the case.
Good job with all the pics! Someone here will look at them for 1 minute and have an answer for you.
It fit in just fine. No terminal. I think the recommendation of 8 awg is only because that is the minimum size for 50 amps. BUT it does not follow the 80/20 rule that some of us follow.
Electricians usually calculate circuit load with a 20 percent safety margin, making sure that the maximum...
It would only be a 3. 2v drop and the other 15 cells would soak that up in mere seconds across the 15s . We are talking about 0.225v gain across the 15s remaining.... if the other cells were at rest, fully charged, at 3.45 they might not even be high cell voltage disconnect.
I seriously doubt...
Yes. And the 6000xp is so easy to get it going. Its over wifi

This is all put together for you.
You can build it yourself tho.
Gpus don't get the majority of there power from the motherboard. They get it directly from the power supply of the computer in most cases.
The cpu would turn the display on, but the power would be from a secondary cable
Sad to hear that.
There is a foam filter on the right side under 4 tiny screws.
It would be my guess that if nasty things were to be growing, they would be all over that part.
Remove and clean filter.
Firstly, I did it the hard way. Most people would just pull some breakers wires out of their main circuit panel and just use their inverter to feed those circuits. Take 2-4 breakers out, run circuits to auxiliary panel wired from inverter. Put 50 amp breaker in house panel that feeds the...
Just buy one more solar panel like the one you have. You will probably want more power in the future and this idea would help. 2, 21v VOC panels in series would be plenty of voltage for a 24v setup
HI, The verb-age in the manual says that the mppt tracker doest track well around that voltage.
What I can tell you from looking at my history graphs with a 220v line I can see that my setup doesnt output anything usable until I hit 133v in the morning.
I have not gone over 25 amps, tho it switches to bypass just the same when you go over 3000 watts on any single- line L1 or L2. That I have done.
I have been slowly getting as much as I can on solar by wiring new outlets in rooms and recently got my 50 gal water heater on the 6KXP by swapping...
A lot of us DIY our batteries. I recently put together my second EVE 16S 280k that is 14.3 kilowatts.
If you are not experienced with electrics I probably shouldnt recommend it.
Useless? Nope, it's doing its job so you don't burn your house down.
I see the problem. And yes, it currently is preventing you from doing irreversible damage to your battery.
That bms is saving your ass right now.
Perhaps you should read about what a bms is supposed to do
Yes, this was a common way for windows xp machines to network without anything else. No router.
I did it once in my life. Probably still have the cable. I bet the cable is the perfect length to parallel 2 inverters since it was connecting 2 big 2002 ish computers.
I wonder why I never used it...
