Hi dcguide
I would have to agree. I have gone to several several sites and I added up all of the watts that I thought I would need and from what I calculated I could run it with the 2 panels and 2 batteries. However, something is not correct.
It is a brand new shed so I’m doing every new. I...
So if I understand correctly I need to have enough panels that will total over the watts for the air condition?
Example: 100W x 5=500 x 5hours of sunlight=2500W
Hello
I wanted to double check my setup for my Design Shed. I'm new to solar and I wanted to take a stab at DIY myself.
Current Setup
2- 100W Panels
2- 12V Batteries(parallel) Sealed Lead
Epever 40A Controller
TopBull 3000W 12V Modified Sine Inverter
I want to be able to run lights, portable...
Thanks for clarification. That is what I thought you meant. I thought I was on track with the calculation. So in my mind upping my panel watts and number of panels would help and the more the better?
And I assume more batteries wouldn’t matter unless I have enough panels to charge them with...
Hello
I tried what you said and shut the breakers to controller off and just turned on inverter. Should have thought of that but anyhoo. Again inverter still shut off. So I think even though it’s a replacement it is still bad.
So I thought that was the issue so when I disconnected the wires from the inverter output it beeps and the volts go up to 222 and back to 221 and then shows F05 error. Does that mean it’s getting too much power?
Yes, I checked and my max is 100v. I’m also able to send back my 100w panels as well so they will not be in the picture. I also see flexible panels, are they worth buying?
I’m setting up my system in a shed in my yard. I have a 3000W inverter by xwjne and 2 100ah batteries connected in parallel. I connected everything except the panels and the controller serms to connect fine. However my inverter continues to beep and the fault light is in. Inverter is connected...
I don’t have anything connected to the DC side.
The white code that was connected was just to lights and outlets. They haven’t been grounded. I wanted to see if I could get this thing to work. I also thought the grounding wire they provided would do that. Is my thinking incorrect?
I was...
