Before you do all these changes maybe just remove all load from the unit, start it up on battery only and do a reset.
If you still having issues: When the inverter is restarted, press button UP+DOWN buttons together and input password 305 to reset
the inverter parameters. After you input the...
Thanks for the reply, also it seems only Ver 3.0.0.0 has the remote upgrade via the internet , and the older 1.7.6.7 do not have the same hardware, checking advantages with the factory they say "same same"just the online upgrade.
Thanks for your reply
After 24 months and one mppt board fail but all the others are fine, replaced the mppt, and working fine, it was a capacitor that went dead short have replaced the cap, and it's now a spare part.
Is Triple Solar in the UK? They should return it to whoever brought it into the country for testing and then that company will take it up with Plyontech, Not sure but if you are in the UK, ask them who did they get the battery from? Segen Solar could be one of the importers. But Triple Solar...
Well its working fine I would rather chase the supplier of the unit to maybe exchange it, what country did you buy it in? But if you still think the firmware is going to do anything, just remember the 230v from the Grid and the output to the load must be isolated and the panels turned off, the...
Also seems they have a later ver than the F4 but will display as E2, from what I got out of them, its the same except for a small change on the 3.5kw unit
Well, where do we start here? if it's not the inverter where to next, maybe a bypass diode on one or more of the solar panels?
It may also be an issue with the MPPT Board or even just the 270uf 500v capacitor on the MPPT Board, I had one with similar issues until that Capacitor when dead short.
What I would like to know is what is the problem between Growatt and Pylontech? And what has Growatt had to say? I would like to see what statement Growatt has put out re the Pylontech, Reason for asking Is I have the same Inverter and the US3000C, running well for 18 months and then the Battery...
Well at the end of the day you will kill it if you expect it to output that much, after all, it's a 5kW unit.
Growatt is busy with 6kW Units right now not sure of the operation or specs but did get a sneak peek at the unit, it looks like all the other Growatt units and are not the same casing...
I have not yet tried the 22amp option, have seen reports from others that it does, but that I have not personally seen. Looking at the components on the MPPT board should not be a problem.
Hi Jim, the firmware you running is pretty current maybe 12 months old max, The upgrade is simple, and have not had any horror stories from the oldest firmware to the latest, they have all the info int the zip file , here is the link to that latest with all the info and the Tool called ISP to do...
I do have it somewhere but not on this pc, can have a look in the morning, but here is the latest if you want to give it a bash, and do the factory reset after you done
I would think they would both fix your problem, I have used the F4 on a friend's machine to solve the problem as the 067.03 was not around at the time, I have another mate with fans running high speed and will go sort his machine out in a week or so But will use the latest 067.03 as I'm told it...
Ok would be nice to see if things improve, but looking at the other post, comparing the new vs old MCU if the panels are all getting the same amount of sun, the newer units do better?? No is the answer to that, just depends on the loads, need to have equal loads on all the inverters to compare ,
The firmware is good for a 230v unit, why do you not let the unit switch to the grid before the cut-off point? In menu 12 im not sure what your setup is but check that out, unless you have no grid :(
Just found this on another forum, so the firmware does exist, but maybe this is a whole new ball game with these units.
One SPF has 40.01/41.01 and works, the second has 67.01/68.01 and cannot be read.
