Well - here we are.
12:20PM
2.550 @ the Terminals with DMM...
2.300 @ the Tester...
Andddd 301.36AH
I do have to say, the charge of this cell was not ideal. I discconected a bunch, and initially only charged to 3.60.
So lets see how the next cell works.
And - the next cell is coming off...
Thanks Guys - I really apprecate the feedback and advice from everyone. Very informative videos.
After 1hr, the cell is reading 3.595.
I will measure again over the next few hours before I start the discharge test and update with a small chart later this evening.
My other 4 cells arrived...
After it dropped even less over the next 30 minutes. I decided to start a discharge test.
I have also started another full charge on another cell. I will do a full 12hr chart like above, and 24h self discharge test on this cell once it hits 3.650.
As for the discharge test.. Will check in...
It's done - both the PS and Cell @ the terminals sat at 3.650 - no current for a solid 15 minutes.
Will let it rest for an hour and check the voltage at the terminals. Nothing currently connected.
I've got a second cell charging up - I will get that one to 3.650 and do a 24h test to review...
Well. Cell number 2 only pulled 299AH. Looks like they are closer to 300AH cells then 310AH.
Anyone know what I should expect when going back to the supplier?
I am assuming a few cycles really wont make a difference?
I bought from this store. They shipped very quickly. I had my cells in 32 days (Toronto, CAN). The cells were packaged well and came with bus bars. Physically, they were in great condition when they arrived. They were advertised as 310AH, but are all testing around 299-303. They have a...
From a physical POV - mine are all in really good shape. A lot better then what most seem to look like throughout the forum. No buldging, dents, or scratches at all. Also - it was nice to receive them in 30 days instead of the 90+ we see sometimes too.
The 4 cells I have tested so far, all...
For anyone in the north Interested - SOK is expecting a container in Canada in June. And we should be able to order then, according to their customer support.
100% a mistake in that description. The unit does not have a solar input at all.
Also, this may throw a wrench in your plans : key feature number 7 states;
Note: This inverter is not compatible with Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery.
For anyone who is interested;
Off charger: 3.655
17H resting: 3.540
@SparkyTMS - thoughts on this voltage drop? Seems to be less then 0.001v an hour now... Will wait another few hours..
I received mine today... well 1/2 of them. Will tackle the fun stuff after work. The initial inspection has me feeling positive. They were packed well, and look very clean. No issues with wrapping, dents, or any other visable issues at this time. I will do a full charge and discharge of a...
Makes sense. After 24h we were at around 3.532.... 0.001 voltage drop over 3 hours. I'm going to throw it on the tester shortly and see how we make out. Again, this time with no inturruptions or changes. Hoping I can pull 310!
Here is what we have...
Not sure what to think at this point...

I upped the voltage from 3.60 to 3.65 on the PS. Battery hovering around 3.647 now.... ps still around around .28a going into the battery. Will let it hit 0.00 and report back.

From what i've read - I don't think a 310AH cell exists...
I ended up ordering a HRP-300-3.3
https://www.meanwell-web.com/en-gb/ac-dc-single-output-enclosed-power-supply-output-3-hrp--300--3.3
Was just under 90usd with shipping.
No reason not to go all the way. The charger @ 24v will max out at 37.5a. I find the dial on mine not accurate - aka 50% on the dial does not equal 50% output. If you have a clamp meter, that is helpful. Your overkill BMS should show you current going into your batteries via bluetooth.
Voltage cutoff is set to 2.5 right now. I will see how things look in the morning, and if the delta is still the same (around 0.17v) I will drop the cutoff voltage to compensate. I was not expecting that big of a difference (made the cables myself with nice ring terminal) - that being said...
For what it's worth - I was told they are brand new, grade a cells... Time will tell. At least my credit card has good insurance! They notified me today the package had shipped, and provided a UPS tracking label. Expected in 30-40 days.

They were roughly 1200 usd all in (tax, duty, shipping to canada)
The problem is it takes foreverrr. by my timer... my batteries are each taking about 200AH. So they came around 30%.
Thats 1600AH.... with a 10A bench charger... 160 hours..
