These cables would be neg to neg and pos to pos: the existing cables up to inverter are 1awg (size limit of the growatt). Still OK to he a little under 2" off on this parallel connection?

Hi folks, I am adding a second 200a 24v battery in parallel to my 24v Growatt 3000 (also 200a, both lifepo4, both 200a BMS). My last two 2/0 cables in the house have just under 2" difference in length (12 and almost 14"). And no more lugs to cut and re-crimp. Will even this difference mess...

Thanks Steve, Just so I don't jump to a conclusion: I'm ok with the two 250a fuses, each on a pos terminal, I specced out above then? Or should I spec them for 225, just at little headroom above the max bms each can deliver, since I don't plan to ever deliver close to the 400 both could supply.

OK thanks MisterS, I may consider paralleling a second matching battery BUT in the meantime, the official specs say max charge/discharge are both 30a so a 25a breaker gives me enough headroom for a 20a charger, right?
