Wow! So much more than I could ask for! Thank you for the knowledge and your time for writing this up.
I will do thing as per your suggestions and will set things up so I have the batteries almost fully charged, then I will set the inverter to manual mode and bypass grid power so battery is not...
I have 3 Coolithium 48V 200Ah (15S) batteries. I have BMS communication set up wit Growatt SPF5000ES. The charge voltage is set to 53.2V by default by the BMS (?) and I cannot change it in the inverter's interface. I guess it is controlled by the BMS. 53.2V is 3.546...V per cell.
First...
That spike is due to switching over to grid power. My grid voltage is around ~240V while inverter output voltage is 230V. So I don't see anything out of the ordinary here and according to the manual it should cause no issues unless the grid voltage is above ~260V. Also I assume if over voltage...
Hi, thanks for your reply :) I don't see any error like that not in the mobile interface nor the web interface. Also It is highly unlikely as it was in the early morning. My load was around 100W so ~2%. and temperature is a steady 18 degree Celsius, so it shouldn't be an issue. Although even it...
This morning at around 6am my growatt 5000 SPF ES for no apparent reason transferred to grid power. Battery was at ~64%.
Settings are:
AC output: SBU mode
Charging: Solar only
Back to AC: 30% SOC
Back to battery 40% SOC
Undervoltage cut off point: 20%
Battery Type: Li (protocol 55) 3x 48V...
Hi, I see this is an older post. Im in the same boat. I'm wondering what the resolution was in your case. Here is mine: https://diysolarforum.com/threads/lifepo4-battery-drops-from-22-to-0.64445/
That literally is what is happening. Once i connected the BMS communication successfully, all the voltage values on the inverter changed to % values and from then the battery controls the charging through the inverter and the inverter only shows %.
I got the values from the interface though...
Funny enough... it got charged to 100% just yesterday or the day before that rather...
I do have AC grid connected.
System voltage is 48V Coolithium LiFePo4 battery s15
My setup with BMS is:
Low voltage disconnect (setting 21) is 10%.
Switch over to grid (setting 12) is 20%
Switch back to...
