Heads up all... I think I have my answer.
I just checked the actual terminal block fuse, and it IS blown. There is no continuity from one side of fuse the the other. So I think this is the problem.
Thank you to everyone who jumped in to help me. Thank you!
I did just read the link... sorry I did not realize it was there earlier.. I am new to the site and was not aware that the stuff in the blue box below your comment was not just an "auto-added box". lol.
Anyway, I read through it, and you obviously spent a lot of thought on this. I can't claim to...

I would like your input on what could be the issue with my solar system in my van.
My system/van was recently completed, and I am finding the electrical is behaving like it cannot get enough power. And when the sun sets, there is NO solar power available, even though the batteries are...

Well, its been a few days of troubleshooting... checked all connections, tightened all connections. The solar panels ARE producing appropriate volts. Batteries are all fully charged. But the inverter still does not work. The MPPT Rover controller still gets an ACR error...

Hi!
I am trying to determine the size fuses needed in the Victron Lynx Distributor for the below four items.
I have all my components running to my Lynx Distributor. The Lynx Distributor docs say it uses MEGA fuses.
Here is what I have so far:
Giandal 3000 W Pure Sine Inverter...
Yes. The yellow is the Giandal Inverter ground. I thought that the negative bar would ground it since it goes to the ground for the system....
So you have the same set up? My Renogy MPPT controller does NOT like my victron 700 battery monitor and also not my Bosch water heater. Or maybe it just...
I have a quick question I bet someone out there knows the answer to without too much heavy lifting...
Why do Renogy and Giandal have TWO positive and TWO negative 4AWG cables included in inverter set ups?
I first was given a Renogy 2000W inverter and was surprised that it came with two sets...
8/31/22,
Greetings,
I am setting up my electrical similar to "Self Made Stories" on Youtube. I will attach a screen cap from their video.
The difference is I have Renogy 40 A MPPT Rover, 2000 Watt Inverter, and DC to DC charger—not Victron components. I added a Victron Lynx Distributor...
Thanks Steve for the clarification... I did not know the difference between bank and pack. My set up is a simple bank of three.
And you are right Bud, I have a battery bank in parallel set up like the above diagram, but only I have three batteries not four.
I am learning. Thanks Steve and...
Oh, I have a quick question I bet you both know the answer to...
Why do Renogy and Giandal have TWO positive and TWO negative 4AWG cables included in inverter set ups?
I first had a Renogy 2000W inverter and was surprised that it came with two sets of cables, and a fellow I asked about it...
Solution?
I spent time on the phone with the support people at Renogy... and I may have it figured out... I have the wrong size fuse for the inverter... I had 400 but should have 300. So that is probably why it was giving me the ACr error, and the inverter kept faulting. So I have a new one...
I have two 200 watt Renogy solar panels up top.
So I will keep the victron battery monitor /shunt. Will they be relaying the same overall information, renogy via an app, and the victron via the face plate monitor. Kind of a dumb question, but which do I pay attention to / which has priority?
I...

Mike,
I tend to agree with you that those things are not the issue. As far as the Rover seeing the batteries, I did, and do always turn the rover on first then the PV connection.
The batteries are all at 13.7 volts. The controller also says they are full.
Since I "inherited" the renogy inverter, it did not have any documentation... I couldnt find anything online about the two cables. A manual would have been great to have. lol.
So I was looking at the information about grounding your inverter, and this forum has some info... looks like you should have a ground. Here is the link if you are interested. :)

Hi,
I am getting a "ACr error" on my Renogy MPPT 40 Controller.
I am having a problem solving this... any help would be greatly appreciated.
I recently finalized set up, and it was working great... Then I tried using my giandal 3000 inverter to heat my Bosch 4 gal water tank. After 10...
