Here is an option I can't figure out. I have been playing with options like you see here. Maybe my eyesight is bad, but my changes have been few and minor because this is new to me. Today the inverter shut off and it took a while to figure out what happened. This thing was clicking and making noises and somehow everything had shut off.
The whole office. This text and conditional AC input wording doesn't make sense. I click buttons, nothing happens, maybe I can find something in the manual, I search and there is no match.

The text at the top I can read, so when I change "Conditional AC Input Connection" nothing changes. Reading what is on the page I see no change and that makes me think that something should change. Is this beta software? What do I do? Have all of these conditions been disabled? Aren't these supposed to become grey when I click this? I don't know what is going on here, if you do, I would really appreciate it. It seems like this page should make sense, or someone made a mistake. Maybe I'm clueless.

RTFM I know I looked, searched the phrases, felt stupid. Those green checkmarks don't even change if enabled/disabled. I just don't get the way it is set up.

Nothing happens because none of the set conditions have been met. If you turn on the conditional AC input switch with the other settings left as they are, the AC connection will turn on when the battery gets down to 2% state of charge or 44 volts. It will shut off when the battery reaches 64 volts.

Those settings will also turn on the AC connection when your load goes above 4549 watts, and shut off when your load is lower than 2016 watts. This lets you use your battery for smaller loads and the grid for loads above whatever wattage you set (4549 watts with posted settings).

Do you have the Bluetooth dongle to allow these settings change via the Victron connect app on the multiplus?

Just curious of the limitations of the Bluetooth dongle vs a usb and desktop software.

As far as I am aware the bluetooth dongle is still mostly a monitor when used with a MultiPlus. It will allow you to change the input current limit as well as switch between Off, On and Charger-only modes but not any settings.

I clicked on the button at top. The green check next to it changed like all of this conditional ac input stuff listed below counts, that check spun around and the button moved to enabled or disabled.

May be a weird thing, but documentation must describe this. I figure if something clearly doesn't happen, I don't know what this stuff is doing.

It's new, and some ahole will say This is a DIY forum are you sure you should be here. I just bought this. I have a science background and money. I bought something nice and it is my experience that things make sense. Why do I get impatient arguing with myself. I like to. Figure how these options work, because this thing shutting off puzzled me.

When you make a change it is indicated by the green check mark so you know what settings you have changed. The green marks go away when you close the page to save the changes.

We all have to start somewhere. Feel free to ask more questions.
