Have experience w/ SoK & they're ok w/ some BMS limitations for power tool surge-draw.

Curious about Eco-Worthy as their 280Ah 12v unit boasts on 250a BMS but I can get no response to the window (time) of over-discharge it will allow. My app is starting small power tools (10-15 amp) from battery-only inverter feed & the SoK is intolerant of those surge-draws in excess of 9 amps.

Would greatly appreciate any experience w/ Eco-Worthy from quality / build standpoint especially the 280 Ah units. Thanks !

Eco Worthy is a Chinese builder of solar power equipment in the budget sector, build quality acceptable, customer service needs work, but I do have 2 of the 280Ah units in our Motorhome and to be fair have been excellent, but like most Chinese manufacturing, "you pays your money you takes your chance". I have stripped these batteries and build was fine, the BMS was balancing ok, and tested the heat over protection and it worked ok. No cold protection, but have mine in an insulted bis and sat on a heat pad for when we're in Northern Europe .There are lots of videos about eco worthy on you tube, some good, some awful, but I return to my previous comment on price point / quality. Enjoy..

Also wondering the amp impact of a cheap high frequency inverter vs a more expensive low frequency inverter with a fat heavy coil. I don’t know the answer, but wondering if a cheap inverter might be harder on the BMS than a more expensive one.

What are you using for an inverter? Brand/model?

I have four of these 280ah from Eco Worthy. I've tested two so far and they exceeded the 280ah, tested at 287ah and 288ah. I am testing the other two very soon as there are a month in-between purchases.

Do you have any pictures of the internal build quality?

Have you got the test result of the other two?
Sorry for the delay here, I was moving into a new home.

Just finished testing the remaining two batteries, I got 287 and 290 ah. Inverter disconnect and not BMS disconnect at 10.5v @ 0.25 to 0.3C discharge rate.

Battery #1 287ah
Battery #2 288ah
Battery #3 287ah
Battery #4 290ah

These batteries seem to have well matched cells, as I’m able to charge and discharge them to spec without BMS protections intervening. So far for the price, these are great batteries from my testing. I didn’t tear these down however if anyone did, please share photos if you have them.

Eco Worthy 280A LFP1228001 specificstio cuide say 850A/10s peak current. Very high current vs other low-cost batteries
