Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a new solar hybrid heat pump I will be reviewing this summer. This one is sold by Ecosolaris out of Quebec Canada. It comes in 12k and 18k and they will be offering a 48v module to run it directly on a 48v battery.

@Danke ...is this a branding of the one you bought?? I remember the oval ends on indoor unit??

230v and non DIY lines, some may need those characteristics :)🤔

Here is what I bought, 24,000BTU
Thx, that looks like the source for Ecosolaris when you look at the "1.5 HP" unit. Some interesting stuff there. A hybrid ceiling cassette, and what is this?? It looks like it would be wall mount, but mentions wheels, portability, and a wall hole 🕳

Sounds like it hasn't decided what it wants to be when it grows up. lol

This looks more like a portable Ac unit with the flex duct out the window, they just aren't showing the duct... If I had to guess. I think your right as far as that being the same unit as the Ecosolaris, I've seen it sold by a few other Chinese companies under different names. I'm still not sure who the manufacturer is but they've told me it's not Deye.

Nice that they're selling a booster so that you can run it off battery power directly. Are you planning on getting one?

Been enjoying your videos for a while. The EG4 hybrid video is what turned me on to your channel. Please keep the videos, and some long term reviews going on these hybrid units.
