Hello.
When building my Off-grid installation, I chose the EASUN INVERTER SMG II 3.6 kW 24V MPPT 100A + WIFI inverter.
I bought it because before purchasing I received information that the device can operate only on photovoltaic panels, without a battery or the network.
Unfortunately, this didn't happen, but it happened from the beginning :)
I have a 3690W installation (9 x 410), Voc is about 310V DC. There is approximately 20 meters of 6mm2 solar cable from the panels to the inverter. After installing and plugging in the inverter, it didn't stand up on its own, I had to give it voltage from the network, what's more, it still works in Bypass mode, it detects the panels, but it doesn't lift itself only on the panels themselves and doesn't really want to charge from them when there is a load.
The appropriate settings and priorities have been entered, but the device only starts from the network.
Have I forgotten anything? Before I wrote, I saw posts on a similar topic on the forum, but they did not solve my problem. Do you have ready-made program settings to work according to my needs?
Thank you in advance for your tips.
Best regards.

We call it ‘grid’ instead of ‘network’ but I’m confused, do you have batteries or not?

While I understand the desire to run offgrid without batteries, it’s not really a thing unless you overpanel by 10X and even then you are going to be disappointed.

What are the rest of your specs? 4KW of panels and a 4KW inverter aren’t going to get you very far, but it should be usable if your expectations are low.
