My build thread

Yeah I've heard of dry setting quikrete, but I'd never try that. It might work, but it seems like it'd be way too inconsistent.

I always used to do that when I lived in Texas ... just dump the dry quickcrete into the hole and water it for a few days, worked fine.

Tried that when I moved to Colorado for a mailbox post - a month later it was still dry insde except for the top and sides.

I guess, If the soil is very dry. I could see it pulling all of the water away.

We have a very high water table here, so a dry set might be okay. But, my OCD wouldn't let me do it, tho. Lulz.

Bone dry decomposed granite.... the only way my wife got a garden was by me bringing in 30+ truckloads of aged horse manuer

We live at 9144ft and high humidity is about 40%, is about 20% all winter.

Tim, did you get your new cells into your bank yet? Where are you at KWh wise now?
No new additions, yet.
I'll be heading to Florida at the end of the month. (Vacation)
And stopping by 18650batterystore on the way back.
Haven't decided how many cells I will buy, this time.
But definitely getting the 230ah cells for the portable power station.
And probably 32 or 48 280ah cells.

I finally hit 100kwh in a single day's production.

Just barely lol
I was sitting there with my fingers crossed, watching the 10ths tick up.
I also cheated a little, by placing a sprinkler on the roof to cool about 1/3 of the panels. Which boosted production about 12%.
I figured it would be a good day to shoot for 100, because the forecast was not expecting any clouds (there were only two).

My little setup hit 22kwh yesterday. I still have 10 more panels to install and another 18 to order.

I do plan on catching tim before its over with :)

But Ive got a ways to go.
