Don’t they usually laserweld the busbars directly to the terminal?
Never seen this before.
What did the folks say you bought them from?

Weird but guess you’re getting it taken care of.Seller's response: You didn't ask for the screw terminals to be soldered, so we sent them that way.I will make a return. Thank you you replies

They are nickel strapping like on cylindrical cells. It's there so one could solder wires to the the terminals. Aluminum does not solder with traditional solder. Nor does it solder well with speciality solder. It's not really a great idea for a cell this large and I've not seen it before on this size. Mainly I've seen it on the smaller ~50a cells.
