Connection over cable not possible JK BMS

Hi everyone.
Couple last days I spent to try connect my BMS from JK 2A14S15P with Anern inverter.
It doesn't matter what I try everything what I do it didn't work.

I have 2 converter from RS to USB.
Both of them don't work with this BMS. Even i tryto connect BMS with computer or inverter or Rpi (solar assistant).
Bluetooth works.
Is there any possibility to try repair connection via cable in this BMS? Soldering I can very well.

I'll be very glad to any help.

Assuming you are using Canbus then be aware the JK PB pinout docs are wrong, so swap Can_h and Can_l over and try again. I also assume Anern use Pylontech canbus and you have selected that on the JK but using the Android or PC app.

You want to tell him the other bad news on the JK Inverter BMS? :ROFLMAO:
 
But in manual is Anern use one rs485.
Maybe the manual which I have is wrong too?1000038867.jpg
 
You best explain what you are trying to do in detail.

Looks like you are not using Canbus, so are you using rs485 ? and if you are what rs485 protocol's does the Anern have listed as options.
 
I would like to connect Anern inverter to JK BMS PB2A16S14P.
A supposed my BMS i damage but now I think I have wrong cable.
Please tell mi what the cable need to looks like. I'm be very pleased.

Like in schematic above I think Anern doesn't have can to communicate (but maybe I'm wrong). That I need to communicate Anern with BMS via Rs485.
 
I only have a JK PB BMS, I do not have an Anern.

Look at the JK pinout in my post 4

Pin 1 is RS485 B
Pin 2 is RS485 A

Then look at the Anern pinout you posted.

Pin 1 is RS485 A
Pin 2 is RS485 B

So take a network cable and cut it in the middle, then make a new joint in the middle by joining the JK pin 1 cable to the Anern Pin 2 cable , JK pin 2 cable to Anern Pin 1 cable. Then use this cable.

Ok and how to configure BMS (over BT) uart1 ?

It doesn't work I tried it earlier.
 
I tried;(
I bought new cable rs485 to USB and try to connect the BMS with computer and update firmware
 
Forget the Anern, get the Windows app to connect to the JK canbus rs485-1 socket and Comms working before trying the Anern.

I'm in the same condition with anern and jk bms pb2a16s20p.
I have try multiple solution but anern don't see bms...
I have try to connect bms to computer with rs485-1 to usb and select modbus jk rs485 in protocol and it's ok.
Probably pin on anern or bad protocol.
i see in configuration anern lib/lic/lip/lil but i dont know if lib is the good protocol or "battery type"
no info for lip/lil

Negative SOC drift and no time to balance cell.
The Voltronic inverter stopped charging the moment JK sent SOC 100% signal to the inverter.
SOC% 100 can be triggered by either inaccurate coulomb counting (it doesn't account for cell self-discharge rate either) and SOC100%-Volt setting in the JKBMS app.
Use the closed loop communication long enough or if you often use the battery down to 20 - 30% SOC, it can result in sudden LVD out of nowhere.

You have EG4? Now, try to check the app SOC % and compare with the individual cell voltage when the reported SOC% is close to 99 - 100% when using Pylontech protocol with JK Inverter BMS. You probably will notice none or only few of the cell actually hit 3.45V.

It can be fixed with firmware update, but highly unlikely....it is JK after all. This particular company only pays special attention to online influencers and not end users.

Yup, this is what happens to me with my 6000xp and is my biggest complaint... I didnt know what was causing that.

So far this happens with the JK inverter BMS and the victron shunt mod that converts it into a fake BMS

I have been periodically changing the battery amp hours in the jk bms every once and a while.
When you change that setting it results in a guess of SOC. If you do that when its charging and the soc drift is going to cut off soon, it will charge to the BMS cell cut off voltage. and default to 100%.

After this, change your requested charge voltage to less than the previous 100% setting and then it will never read 100% :)
It is fvcked....
