Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my negative experience with POWMR inverters and their customer service. I initially bought a 12kW 3-phase hybrid inverter, which failed after just seven days of use. It failed during the night when the load was definitely less than 1kW. My mother heard a loud noise, indicating something exploded inside the inverter, causing the entire house to go dark. Naturally, the inverter stopped working.

I contacted the seller on AliExpress to claim the warranty and requested a replacement unit, but he refused and blamed me for the failure, alleging we had mishandled the inverter. He insisted I pay €106 for shipping the inverter back to China and promised to cover half the shipping cost upon receipt. I sent the inverter back with a tracking number, and 28 days later, it was delivered, but the seller claimed he never received it. Even after 10 days of follow-up, he refused to provide a replacement, reiterating that they hadn't received the inverter.

I reported the issue to AliExpress customer service, opened a dispute, and uploaded all the necessary proof, including tracking information and videos of me packing and sending the inverter. Fortunately, I received a refund after the dispute was resolved, but the seller never refunded the shipping cost as promised. Instead, I asked for at least half of the shipping cost back in the form of a Wi-Fi module compatible with another POWMR inverter I had, a 10.2kW single-phase model, which I mistakenly bought earlier due to some confusion about my house's power requirements.

The Wi-Fi module arrived faulty. When I contacted the seller, he accused me of damaging the communication board by plugging the module into the wrong port, which was impossible since there were only two ports: one for the battery management system and one labeled "Wi-Fi." Despite sending video evidence of the module not working, he continued to blame me and asked me to open the inverter and record the communication board, which I refused.

Ultimately, I decided never to deal with POWMR products again. I switched to a DEYE 12kW hybrid inverter for my house, and it has been amazing with zero errors. Unlike POWMR, which couldn't effectively combine solar, battery, and grid power, the DEYE inverter manages this seamlessly.

For instance, with the POWMR inverter, if my house consumed 11kW, solar produced 4kW, and the battery (at 100% state of charge) could discharge 3kW, the inverter would attempt to pull 7kW from the battery, causing an overload and a complete power shutdown. The DEYE inverter, however, can specify the max discharge power of the battery and combine solar, battery, and grid power efficiently. If solar and battery are short by 3kW, it pulls the remaining 3kW from the grid, preventing any power disruption.

In conclusion, my experience with POWMR was disappointing, and I highly recommend considering other brands like DEYE for reliable performance and customer service.

Here is link of wifi module that i recorded that they sent me faulty :

Here is youtube link of me recorded how i am returning inverter back to china :

Here is message where he refuses to send me back replacement inverter and also message where he blames me that i destroyed other inverter so that is why wifi module dont work lol .

Sorry to say you get what you pay for Powmr inverters are typically 25% of the price compared to Deye I have a 1.6kw Powmr off-grid AiO and I bought it knowing full well that it was a pos but it does work, if it does go pop I'll tear it apart and have something to learn from/use as a paperweight I wouldn't even bother with the warranty.
When your looking for a large inverter to rely on/power your whole home people don't typically buy the cheapest brand on the market and expect quality I'm sorry for your experience but I don't believe your post would shock anyone on the forum.
The Powmr 12kw3ph is cheaper than a 5kw1p Deye here in Asia hell it's half the price of a EG4 6000xp.

that is fine i am just giving my opinion. After that i got deye 12kw and works perfectly for whole house. And its not true that everybody knows, i was one of the people who didnt know to stay away from them .there will be more people that will maybe be tempted to buy 12kw unit . and they do sell it at high price of 1500 euros .

3 phase 12kw powmr for 700euro ? where show link. i think you mixed up single phase with 3 phase . if they really sell for 700e in asia then they are really garbage XD i learned my lesson. this 10,2 kw single phase powmr works but very low load on it just under 2kw .

Plus a monthly 15% off coupon bring the price down to €809 sorry my rough maths was off but even without the coupon the price is still €500 less than you paid. The cheaper models are considerably less see attachments below.

that is crazy low price :) there is no way for us in europe to know this . Anyway i got deye 12kw its amazing unit

deye is cheaper in europe than on your lazada website i just checked now .
Prices drastically change during sales which happen often sometimes twice a month with anything from 10 to 25%off but Deye are pretty much the most expensive brand I've found available here.
