Hi Guys,

I have a Grade B power bank of 48V 200AH for my solar system.

Yesterday evening, I checked the battery level was 88%.
I went to sleep with my security lights ON and used my 9000BTU Airconditioner for 3 hours.

Yet this morning at 7am, the battery is 88% with only 0.2KWh charged through charge controller

I wonder what is wrong with the batteries

What are you using to monitor the batteries.
What voltage is the controller set for charge.
What controller are you using.
I am using the charge controller to monitor the battery levels
The voltage controller maximum charge is set at 57.6V
I am just using a Chinese charge controller with a claimed efficiency of 98%

nothing would "charge" at night... do you mean used?
based on voltage as the only thing the charge controller can see it didn't move enough to show use.
does your BMS have a interface you can look at?

The question is how comes energy stored in the batteries remains the same despite usage previous night ?

because your measuring voltage not actual current.. you need a shunt for that.. as I said early BMS have a shunt in them so if you can access it

LIFEPO have a very very flat voltage curve in the middle so it won't tell you much

fir example the battery can read 13.5v but be at 160ah or 130ah no way to know
