LITHIUM BATTERY COLD WEATHER SHUTOFF?

Is there a charge controller or shunt that includes a battery area probe that will stop damage from inadvertent cold weather charging? I am purchasing a pair of modest lithium batteries (upgrade from wet-cell) that don't include cold temperature shutoff. I heard that Victron has such a device. Saludos from Fort Worth, Texas, Thanks.

Some charge controllers havea low temperature disable. Vicron systems, solar controller, Smart shunt, BMV712 battery monitor 'talk' to each other and can have low temperature charge disable capability.

I use the Victron Energy 100/50 solar charge controller. On its own, it will stop the charge if the ambient temperature - as measured at the controller - falls below the programmable threshold. Using the Victron Energy BMV-712, which measures the temperature at the battery, the solar charge controller will use that temperature reading instead of ambient.

I created a warming system for my LiFePO4 batteries to ensure that they don't fall below 35° F. That way, they are always ready to accept a charge.
