Perfect Battery Rachet?

Just found this on Amazon, looks promising , steel core with high impact plastic wrapping most of tool, I ordered it for safery.

Have a set of those. Don't use them hard, but they do seem to be reliable.

I was thinking battery use only, I have much better for most uses, How do you like your set?

Sure, why not. Safety first. Or start a fire that melts to China and takes everything you own with it.

Definitely like them. Bought them for that safety factor and they were not overly expensive. Too lazy to want to wrap every tool in tape that will never look nice again.

Good idea, I have shrink wrap on one of my ratchets but it's not perfect. Funny as it's a Tekton too.

I just bought a set direct from Tekton. They ship fast and I had some rewards saved up, so ordered them and some other items I was needing. Thanks for the tip. I will be happy to cut the shrink off my other ratchet. It looks dorky.

Harbor freight has two different brands of plastic ratchets… likely same manufacturer. I have a few of them. I like em.

The build quality looks good, the ratcheting is smooth. There's a hairline gap around the center raised area. I'll likely fill that in with grease.
