Over the last year I've switched from lead/acid to lithium, couldn't be happier. I put it off for several years waiting for a good, reliable supplier of high quality cells, but then Docan started shipping from US stocks and I started buying. Currently up to 2400 ah at 24 volts in the system.
I love the way they charge, they just suck down the power until they're full, unlike the lead/acid that seem to take forever to get that last 10 percent into them. I love never having to worry if they're regularly hitting float voltage, in the long cloudy winter here that can be a real issue. Basically, I just don't have to worry about them like I did with the lead / acid.
