Equal Panel String Wire Lengths?

I'm planning two series strings of panels where the charge controller and inverter would be close to one side of the array. This would make one side of the circuit long and the other short. About 28' on one side and 8' on the other. Is it best to keep these equal and leave a loop on one side? For example, use two 30' extensions to connect the string and just loop the close side's slack next to the breaker/disconnect/charge controller. I'd prefer to terminate them at the proper length but i'm not sure if the wires on each side of the circuit need to be equal like with batteries.

What does this consist of? Mostly curious how they are wired and combined.

You should be just fine with using different lengths from your array.
The plans it to put 6 445w Solarever Panels in each string then use branch connectors to parallel those 2 strings. Running a single pair to the controller. The charge controller can do 5000w / 500v and the panels are 49.86V.

You do not have to keep those lengths the same like batteries. The shorter the overall amount of wiring from array the better.
