Im considering this setup for an apartment for purely for UPS functionality (charging with grid) not solar panels.Any energy storage battery is actually the same. Because the essence is LiFePO4 battery + BMS + different shell. All you need to do is find the market price and find the shape you like because the price of normal energy storage batteries will be around the market price... Also, be wary of too cheap batteries, you will pay for them.

Its literally the lowest price I can get here in comparison to Fortress, Simpliphi, Kilovaults, Enphase, Tesla, etc
4 modules $11,850 19.2kw
5 modules $14,500 24kw
yeah, the store is located in China no warranties or support in the USA or Puerto RicoThen buy it, the price is quite normal. But I saw a brand called Gokwh that seems to be cheaper, if you are interested you can go to Google. It Seems to be a new brand.

4.8kwh, are those 15s?There's rave over this batteries in Puerto Rico. Has anyone tested or reviewed this stackable batteries?

are you talking about surge? surge is 10s4.8kwh per battery makes me think 15s, not the typical 16s.
The recommendation is too get the modules you need from day one. If you add more modules the warranty expiration date starts from the installation of the first installed modules. If you want more modules Its better to expand on a new tower to get the full 10 year warranty on those new modules. Those Home grid battteries meet the new UL standard. Solark and Homegrid seem to have some sort of partnership. Kinda cool how those can expand over time.
By the way, there's closed loop communication between SA and HGThose Home grid battteries meet the new UL standard. Solark and Homegrid seem to have some sort of partnership. Kinda cool how those can expand over time.
I refuse to rave over any battery form factor. ?
On the market now in the US :
Growatt AXE 5.0-C1 Battery | 48V 100AH

15 cells in series. Lower voltage and less kwh storage than the typical 16 cell batteries.are you talking about surge? surge is 10s
I think they have both a 15S & a 16S product:4.8kwh per battery makes me think 15s, not the typical 16s.
HOW DO I WAKE IT UP LOLSince this battery is supposed to be the "rave in Puerto Rico", maybe a search of Puerto Rican based diy groups might yield something?
Per the manual p.5, a green fault light is normal operation. Maybe the bms is in sleep mode?
