DIY home solar panel during the Covid 19

Hi guys,
I am at home as many of us and I try to use my time better. I consider it for already a long time to build my home cheap solar system. I found on the internet several DIY guides as you can imagine. I found info about the 3D solar panel DIY guide. did anyone try this before? do you have recommendations.

If your query relates to having solar v not having solar, there are cleverererer people than I out there that have analysed that topic to death. If your query is about buying a pre-built kit or going 100% DIY, then, FWIW, I've never seen a kit that didn't contain cheap components and a nauseatingly inflated price. That's not to say they don't exist, only that I've never seen one.

I do agree that buying a kit might seem like the 'easy option', but there is something to be said for researching a project, planning and building it, not least the friends you make along the way. I personally would never buy a kit, I might investigate them for comparison purposes and build some intuition around components, manufacturers etc. But, to each their own.
