Off grid system + generator backup

Hello!

I will be putting together a small off-grid system for sauna cabing in following weeks. Sadly I am no expert.

I live in Northern Europe, and cabing will be used just on weekends mostly. It has 9 4w-13w LED lights that will run on 12v DC, 2 USB sockets and 3 ac outlets that usually won't even be used (and inverter gonna stay turned off by default).

Problem is that we get proper winter here and some weeks with no sun. Electric "box" will be outside main building, insulated and within another smaller shed for extra protection from condensation. As LiFePO4 battery cannot be charged in negative temperature (Celsius), I will add 2x12w heating pads to battery chamber.

As there will be periods with not much sun and a lot of cold, I expect battery to get discharged from time to time in winter. This is why I want to add my gasoline generator as backup. Few concerns:

1. I can't just charge LiFePO4 battery straight away from generator as will be below freezing as heating pads won't be working.

2. Can I wire generators 12 DC power to my main positive / negative bus bars in order to get heating pads working? Any better point where to connect?

3. Do I need to turn off any of breakers while doing it?

4. As battery chamber will heat up above freezing, I will start charging battery with normal charger.

Any flaws in my plan?

Thanks in advance!
