I have the Samlex PST-2000-12 inverter and the remote panel does not come with the inverter. Separate purchase. $40 or so.

The "problem" I have is that the inverter is close to the floor and I have to bend my 57 year old body around and contort it to turn the inverter on or off.

The Samlex does have the ability to add a simple switch.

I rooted through my old 3D printed parts box and found the bottom of a Raspberry Pi Zero case I printed once. Drilled a hole in it and routed the wires through one of the cutouts for the power adapter.

Then wired it into the Samlex to the S and - terminals as per the manual.

Then zip tied the switch to a much more usable location and cleaned up the install.

Kinda cheesy maybe but it works. No more bending over and it didn't cost $40.

Looks great to me! I need a remote switch for my aims inverter. Mine doesn't have a simple on and off switch. I have to push and hold it for a second or 2 before it comes on. Not sure I can do like you did. Maybe someone here has done this on an aims inverter. The factory switch is 30 bucks. Not bad. But I like building stuff and would like to make my own.

I like seeing the green light on the Victron SCC - Float mode is always a good thing to see!

Mine is the same way, and I am trying to figure out a remote for it...
