I am a newbie and lost would two these batteries work for a Traveler trailer Valence u-charge RT Series U1-12RT Lithium Iron Magnesium Phosphate Battery 40Ah
running a microwave, hairdryer tv and 2 laptops, not all a once ?? or the 138Ah I just don't understand thanks for helping

The RT has a BMS and isnt meant for simple lead battery replacement. But its only 40ah.

The u27 has nothing but an inactive cell balancer that need a computer or the expensive external BMS to function. But its way more powerful.

Most of us use the u27 and I use it without a BMS as my charge controller and inverter take care of over and under discharging.

The U1-12RT is limited to 30A discharge rate. A 1000w microwace will need about 80A so you will need 3 batteries.

The u27 has a discharge rate of 150A and so one would be all you need.

If I were you Id be more inclined to look at new batteries like renogy or li-on, etc. They cost more but have a warranty and BMS while providing the capacity you want.

Just buy one more battery, connect all the leads together and get an inverter and you should be set. Your going to need an inverter no matter what you buy. Valence are great batteries. I have 16 of the 138amp.

Deleted. Just realised that @airstreamfl has revived a thread that is a year old :)
