LiFePO4 and "deep cycle" (which implies lead acid) are 2 different types of batteries.
I'd get this corrected so any answers are based on the batteries you actually have.

Instead of trying to follow the recipe precisely (its an example), look on craigslist for big cheap panels. Keep in mind that you only need to have your array within the limits of your SCC (volts Voc, watts and amps).

If you find some that you like (big and cheap are ones i like) and want to know if they work or know how to configure them to work, provide the specs as well as the SCC limits and i'm sure someone will get it figured out (or tell you they won't work and why).
