Newly set up sol ark the menu says off. The left side on and off button does not change it (or seem to do anything) . Shut down power too inverter let screen go dark then turned power back on and it's still just says off.

Normal light is also off. Manual troubleshooting says could be in pass through only mode. But unsure of what that is. Thanks for any help before I call solark. 1202220637_HDR.jpg

Looks like Pass-Through mode, AC light is ON. You should have power to your main panel 'Load', just need to wait for the Sun to come up

Awww OK so I just need patience lol. But on pass through mode you don't get any data on load used from grid?

That's correct.
I'd say that 8.8v is a ghost voltage, if you have batteries at all.
She's patiently waiting for some DC to invert.
Put some of your PV panel and battery info up, I'm sure there we be plenty of members excited to help in commissioning your system.

Correct no batterys yet, but thanks to all the resources on this form that's about to change.

9k of solar ground mount.
It got commissioned yesterday. But what through me off is 2 days ago before pv was hooked up. Inverter was showing grid usage on app and menu. So it would show grid coming in and grid going out to load. Even when DC was not hooked up.

See pg 41 in your manual. I wouldn’t run mine without a battery. When my 143kWh battery is fully charged, it acts like a shock absorber on the system, there is current constantly pushing into and pulling out of my batteries. I’m totally off grid, so you’ll probably want to talk to someone that has a 15K tied to the grid. Learning what all of the settings do through experimentation and reading and learning from others on here will take a while and that is normal. You have a very capable piece of equipment there. Enjoy it.

Normal without batteries. As you have it installed it is simply a Grid Tied inverter and will shut off each night when there is no PV power input.

Thanks a bunch guys! Now that the sun's peaking through its back on.

One other question, and maybe I'll need to start a new thread. But Is there a way to monitor solar production with Emporia. I know u can use the 50amp clamps on Emporia to do such. But with the 15k 200amp pass through i can't just put it on the load cables

Directly NO. I have a TED energy monitor (it is old). What I have is a set of TED Ct's on my load center (breaker panel) set to unidirectional and another set of TED CT's on the Grid input set to bidirectional. So I get a net usage (grid power in minus solar power out) on one set of CT's and then I get my total house load usage on the other set of CT's. So I calculate my solar production mathematically.
