Looking for the best option for our 35 ft trawler. We currently have a MS2812 inverter / charger and aged golf cart batteries. Looking to add 3 300w solar panels and replace the lead acid with lithium Lifepo4.

looking at the odd configuration of the Leaf batteries, Can these be used for 12v and just under charge them, or is there a better option. Looking for 300a to start and maybe expanding to a larger system if needed.

any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated

Im interested on this as well, my Weize AGM 12v 100ah battery is dying after 4 months of use, it discharges itself in 1 hour last time just by using 2 routers. It its supposed to last all the night.

I dont want to buy another agm battery, but lifepo4 is not cheap, will these "12v" nissan leaf work with my 12v system? I have a Mpp Solar pip812lv-ms

Nominal voltage for Leaf battery is 7.5V so 2 of them in series is already at 15V. Unless you are planning on using on only a small percentage of the battery capacity Leaf batteries are really not suitable for a 12V system.
In general AGM batteries should last much longer than 4 months. Are you drawing down more than 50% all the time ?

Im using the mpp solar with default agm settings, not sure what is the cut off voltage for that, the inverter only cut off the battery 1 time like 2 weeks ago, then it happened again and mpp solar indicated a warning low voltage battery, looks like the battery was discharging very fast now, last time i tested with very low watts like 20W (2 small router chargers) and it lasted less that an hour before going to 12.0v.

I use it usually when there is sun, and i have usually 3-6 hours a day with no electricity, it mostly remains at 12.6V+ since im using it in the daylight when there is no electricity, otherwise it is just in bypass mode using it as "ups" because the electricity fluctuates a lot here.

Maybe I should adjust the Battery Type settings to "User-Defined" to adjust the bulk, float, and cut off voltage manually to preserve the battery life? next battery I mean lol
