I purchased 2 eg4 6500’s from signature solar and they came with 1/0 cables to go from inverter to bus bar. Will’s video says 2/0. Do i need to purchase 2/0 cable

I used 1/0 with each of my LV6548's. It didn't cause any big problems, as it is rated for the current, it just had a little more voltage drop.
I would suggest the biggest cables you can afford though.

Depends on the length and load. If they are very short and you don't have a lot of startup surge, will likely be OK.
