Hi all,

I have a growatt Min 10000TL-XH-US that seems to be stuck in standby. We have verified that we have voltage coming in correctly and it seems like there is only one way to hookup the output. Had an electrician out who checked it out and it seems correct. Have ShinePhone and ShineTools hooked up and have toyed with that a bit but nothing is changing.

What should I try first? First system so a little lost and Growatt is super unhelpful.

Thanks in advance

Some more explanation and perhaps pictures of your setup could help. I am not even sure what you mean when you say it is stuck in standby.

Check if the manual trip device is tripped or a wire open - if you have it installed. If you don’t have it installed make sure the jumper is in place and not loose. If the manual trip input is open (tripped) the inverter will be in standby and you will have no fault or alarm telling you that - learned the hard way last summer……..and I have always found the Growatt tech support helpful- but you have to be very patient with the language barrier- I have only spoken to one that was a native English speaker, the rest have been only broken English- I’ve used the tech support about 5 times in 2 years primarily when adding batteries.

Do you found some solution to this?, I have the same with situation with my Min 7600TL-XH-US, was working fine until I update the firmware in Data Logger from 1.0.1.5 to 1.0.1.6; everything was fine in theory, after that stuck on Standby Mode, I check the recommendation of Majicdriver, but not work for me.

Thanks in advance

Solve; after read read read, check, test, I see some differences in the "Custom Pf Curve" parameters, I chance that with the values I see in others Growatt inverters, and done work again after 4 days in Standby mode

Did you figure it out I have a Min 8200TL-XH-US that just didn't wake up no errors no nothing Looks like its waiting for power but it has what it needs .

I found maybe some way to wake up, I change in the app Shinetools connected direct to the inverter
go to Grid Code -> Synchornization Range -> Connection Time and Reconnection time change fro 300 to 301, apply the Settings (blue bottom)

and done, after wait 301 seconds pass from Standby to On Grid

I not sure why, but in theory 300 seconds is a normal waiting time for safe connection to the grid

I hope this solves your problem

I use 5 seconds

I set mine to 5 seconds also, my 7600TL-XH-US cuts out about 5 to 10 times a day (it's not clouds). Is there a way to find out why it is doing this? It flashes the fault light on the unit, but there are not any faults listed in the shinetool.

maybe I found it. Just changed the Growatt Freq High to 60.20, from 60.10

I started having that problem when I went off grid and ac coupled one to the other. The problem was that the default ramp rate is something like 16%/min which causes frequency excursions when large loads turn off - the ac coupled inverter ramps down too slow and the grid forming inverter has to rapidly increase frequency- the end result is the grid tied inverter trips off line on high frequency (the fault clears quickly and it’s easy to miss) and resynch’s.
I have found that a ramp rate of 600 works well. It’s one of the grid code settings

Thank you, some much for that information, I bet that is it. I'll give it a try.
