I have 4 series strings of 8 455 w panels. 9.27a They are 125 feet from my house. What will my voltage drop be on 10g thhn?

I don't use that one because I assume you have to double the wire length. The other one explicitly states it's just the one way distance.

Ya, good point. Although a circuit generally consists of a pair of wires. Maybe some day when I'm board I do the calculation from scratch based on the specific resistance of copper, wire X section area and distance to see how it correlates to the Southwire app.

Would i use the combined series voltage?

If you have 8 panels in series, then 8X Vmp (assuming your MPPT can handle that).
If you're combining the strings in parallel at the array, then 4X Isc. If you're sending back a pair of 10awg for each string, then it's just 1X Isc.
