It died.

My 10+ year old inverter kicked the bucket. It was only 350W but it has worked well for what I needed it to do. Today it was struggling with 150W load and when I upped it to 200 the fan died and the power soon after.

I'm not ready to go full scale yet on my system so I found a deal on amazon and got a 500W pure sign wave for $59

Might just need a new $15 fan .... might have kicked off because of the heat build up and tripped a thermal .... BUT with that said ... spending $59 is probably better then the effort it would take to fix it ..

Ha, I'd buy the replacement AND also fix the old one, if it is indeed just the fan. But then, I have junk storage space.

I love when electronics last that much, specially in the age where they usually last 3 - 4 years...
