Victron Multiplus II

Can you use a Victron Multiplus 2 as a standalone inverter/charger or would uou have to add a distributor and a shunt?

Eg: Batteries hooked up to the Multiplus, then to a load.

You can use just the inverter charger like you want. The shunt and distributor block are just accessories, not required.
