Hi All,

I have a Growatt SPF5000es with a Dyness A48100.

I noticed that after an extended power outage, the battery reaches 20% and the system shuts down as it should.

However, when the grid power returned, the inverter did not start up itself. I had to manually switch off the inverter (I/O switch) and then it recognized that the grid power has returned.

My problem is that my entire home is routed through the inverter and if this happens while I'm away on holiday, my fridge contents will go off.

Does anyone know why it does this?

Likely your unit has a low voltage disconnect that requires your battery to reach a certain voltage level before it resets. On mine (not a Growatt) the setting is adjustable. The manual lists it as Battery under voltage Recovery point.

Hi All, does anyone have a solution for this?

My battery died while I was on holiday and the inverter didn’t reboot itself when grid power returned. I got home to a fridge with everything that needed to be thrown away.

Surely the inverter should detect grid power and switch on ?
