I have a Growatt SPF5000 with a pylontech 5000 battery and 4000 kW of PV. The system worked fine for about a year even if the battery draine; the inverter would automatically restart without intervention.
One day however the battery drained due to a long load-shed and when the power came back the inverter would not restart. The display comes on and shows only a battery icon, as normal. What should happen is after a few seconds more icons should show and eventually 220V should be generated. This doesn't happen. Even after 30 minutes only the battery icon shows. Even if I cycle the inverter power switch, still nothing happens.
However, if I do a soft reset (password 305) and then exit back to the main screen, the inverter starts generating as normal.
Any ideas?
