So the charger does seem to work and I've added a wifi switch. However, I still disconnect it because the batteries seem to keep the charger powered up. There is also arcing that occurs when connecting the charger... not cool. I found a better charger from AIMS, but it's pricey at $275-$300 so...

Yes, PLA 30% infill. Heat isn't going to be a problem. Probably would do PETG for a bit strong material, but not really concerned as I don't have huge holes in the yard.

I get over an hour, probably hour and half with 78ah cells.

Also did a full cut and meter is accurate. The Daly BMS after a full cut was extremely hot. I sent a message to them to ask if that's normal. Likely POS BMS and will likely replace it with the overkill BMS. I'm also adding a wifi switch to the charger so that it's off when not in use.

Got the charger in and adjusted down the VR2 pot to 56v, 58.4v is indeed a little too hot. Man, this charger design and build quality totally sucks. I trust it about as far as I could throw it. As you mentioned, the power switch, which should be connected to the mains is connected to the board...

Should have went with the 100A version. It will handle 100A constant, 150A surge. Likely to be much smaller and have much more manageable posts.

Negative, lifepo4 especially does not like charging in sub freezing. I will disconnect the charger for the winter but will keep a watch in voltage to make sure the bms(or anything else) doesn't leech the battery dry. I'm in Alabama, RTR.

Maybe easier, but a shunt would more accurately keep track of SOC vs voltage. You also get current, which I would be interested in seeing.

I thought about the bouncing as well and while the cells are not compressed, they are quite snug. I added a thin piece of foam to the bottom of the batteries to provide some cushion for movement. It would take some serious holes/bumps to toss the batteries up. My next task just to provide some...
