So each Victron device must feed to the RPI ? I have the RPI4> MK3 going to the Multiplus and the MP is plugged into the SCC using VE bus. You can't daisy chain devices?

I have SA working on RPi4 and it can see the Multiplus II. I connect the SCC 250/100 using what I thought was the correct cable to the VE port, but nothing in the Device list for the SCC. Is there a special cable to connect Victron devices together or just a ethernet cord?

When I try to use this command it fails and indicates it is a read-only file system. Am I missing a step before this? update : found command mount -o remount,rw / and deleted headless file and it works. Now to connect to MPII 48v/3000 and 250/100 SCC

Doing a search finds it is a common issue. Thankfully it is mounted in an outdoor shed.

Does your MultiPlus II exhibit a loud low frequency hum when charging over 20amps? Not sure if the issue I am having is from how it is mounted or because another inverter is feeding it.

I have one of those 600w Samlex inverters. No RFI, but the fan is loud and the speed is variable, it goes up and down, based on load. I couldn't have it in the same room with me. but it is exceptionally clean and I feel good powering my computers with it. :D

I didn't expect that and by a substantial amount too, even when it is cloudy and raining I was getting over 300w from it. Is this because the MPPT works better at the higher 48v battery voltage? Same solar charger, same panels.

I just ordered the Vaterer wall mount version. It has comms and fits into my solar shed very well. I hope to then add more if it works out.

After seeing the review of the rack mounted version, I am inclined to go with this model, as it is more suited for my enclosure. This comes with cables and a mounting bracket. Thanks @plympton for the review, the products appears to be quality built.

The LV2424 is a loud beast with high idle consumption as well as a RFI generator. I plan to get rid of mine when the 48v inverter is installed.

The BougeRV panels have worked out well for me in my ground mounted array. VOC went up 20% one cold afternoon here in Ohio and blew out their SCC which they replaced promptly. It was consistently running less than 130v in 10F weather. They are paired with a Victron 250/100 now.

The output of my 8 panel array went up 20% when temps dropped to 0F during the day with wall to wall sunshine and snow on the ground. Magic smoke appeared from the BougeRV SCC which they replaced free of charge.

I can't say my decision was wrong, it just wasn't the best one. It has performed well in the 3years that I have owned the MPP AIO. I did opt to use a more efficient inverter for every day use to power my electronics, as the output is much cleaner on the scope.
