    13.3kW PV Solar Hyundai + 35.5 kWh Pylontech H2 + Goodwe 11kW 3 phase hybrid inverter.

Hello, This is an in progress install thread of my solar install, mainly because I can't find any reviews or Pylontech PowerCube H2 installations online. This install is a professional grid tied system performed by a solar installer, with electrician certification, feed in tariff and STC...

Need help! 48 volt caught fire

48V is a life threatening voltage if wired incorrectly. You might be wiser to start at 24V, with safety glasses and gloves. Make sure there is no bare metal, cover busbars and terminals in Kapton tape. Use insulated tools. Use appripriate fuses and safety switches. I would also suggest you run...

Foshan SNAT SNADI hybrid all in one

Mine came factory configured with HVD and LVD for the charger/inverter. They cannot be change on my unit. I forwarded Foshan SNADI the EVE280Ah datasheet with the charging parameters and asked for them to be set a little inside the max voltagr range for safety margin (I am also using a BMS)...

    Bluecarbon UU12-150

They're still working, my Juntek broke in 2 ways the voltage sense leads I was using melted and the shunt holding L brackets snapped. I still have an intine power meter of the type Will uses in one of his videos, but haven't retested the capacity recently. The biggest issue with this is that...

    EcoFlow R600

On Ecoflow's facebook page they are surveying interest in another manufacturing run of the the EF-1500 at the same kickstarter price (which was $599). Survey is still up currently. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BDQ5MLD Having said that a few people on their Facebook group have been able to...

Lifepo4 mishap. Can they be salvaged?

30v = 3.75v Not good, but probably not terminal, post some pics of the bloated cells. Perhaps discharge then to 10% SOC and add compression, because the bloat on the middle they tend to splay apart at the bottom

    Lishen 272AH thread?

I'm no expert, but I believe the correct place to have put the fuse would have been at the total battery +'ve terminal Then to connect the charger to the fused terminal, like these https://www.amazon.com/Bay-Marine-Single-Terminal-included/dp/B07LC39CG5/

    ETC 277AH Grade B?

In that case the agent fees (can be DHL/Fedex etc) must have been negligible. The customs/duties are calculated on the Forex rate at arrival, the exchange rate is probably better than when you ordered.

    ETC 277AH Grade B?

    $330 for the agent fees ? Or in total [Customs duties + GST + Agent fees] = $330 ? Because [$2103 AUD + 5%] + 10% = $326

200A Smart BMS from LLT Power

Well as long as they continue to sell the prior model which supports 8s and 16s then there's no problem. How much do Jaibaida charge per unit on Alibaba ? Do you have a link to their store ? Does their unit include the balancing leads and the bluetooth module ?

    Lishen 272AH thread?

Glad to hear nobody was hurt or worse. I had one of my JBD BMSs fail to trigger either LVD or HVD, in app they showed charging/discharging off but the relay/contactor didn't lock out. Also especially for a mobile installation, I think fuses are important (I use a total cell positive Bussman...

I have 2 silver and 1 black aluminium extrusion models. They do work in 8s and 16s configurations.

    ETC 277AH Grade B?

You were unlucky to have to hit the GST/customs threshold with separate shipments, unless the invoice/shipping manifest itself tallied up to >AUD$1000 including postage. Customs duty is 5%, GST is added to the whole order (cost of goods + shipping + customs duty). Then there is the agent...

Xuba Electronics: DEAL - 280AH LiFePo4 cells. Purchase & Review

Regarding extra space, you can either use the walls of the box for compression (Not advisable for Lishen cells), or have space for external compression (straps, plates, planks), space for the BMS and overhead room for the cabling and a battery fuse.

Foshan SNAT SNADI hybrid all in one

About 45w in Mode 1 + 3. Eco mode has a lower baseline and briefly spins up every 5 seconds. These LF inverters can MPPT charge whilst off, cutting down idle battery draw overnight.

Are there any inverter/charges for under $500 that don't suck?

Hi Skid, Alibaba advertisements aren't always completely accurate as they often cover multiple SKUs. Confirm with Camille that this is a low freq inverter, what its weight is, photos of the insides, and whether it can be built to the voltage/Hz you need (ie 240V and not 220V)

Is The 3.75V Overcharge Cutoff A Deal Breaker For This BMS ?

That maybe the factory default setting. You want to choose a DIY friendly BMS that can easily interface to your phone or PC to configure settings and read voltages +/- logging.

Short Circuited my 48V 120Ah Build (I'm fine)

Glad to hear you're okay. I accidently shorted the parallel busbar (18p) during top balance to my charger lead, instantly melting/welding the lug. 48v is alot more pop than 3.5v

200A Smart BMS from LLT Power

The only way I can set [charge : off] via android xiaoxiang is via the cell / pack overvoltage limits. Maybe a Linux tool can manually turn it off - there are a couple of community tools posted here that I haven't tried.

200A Smart BMS from LLT Power

When you set in xiaoxiang "switch function" to Green, discharge is disabled. My AIO inverter will not power on with "discharge : off", and there is a soft audible clunk each time the "switch function" is toggled on/off.

Aliexpress inverter?? Great or terrible idea?

I have been using the 24v 2000w 240V 50Hz version of this for the past few months https://m.alibaba.com/product/1600075421058/12v-220v-3000-watt-pure-sine.html They can customize sockets for country, I recommend 3 sockets not 4 (which are too close together) No major issues with mine, it...

Unbelievably cheap LiFePO4 batteries from Australia on eBay

    ETC 277AH Grade B?

I ordered my EVE280 cells in batches of 8 and didn't pay customs/GST. However maybe the customs service was just overloaded in Q4, as the AUD$1000 threshold is calculated on [goods cost + shipping] in USD converted to AUD at the time of arrival. So about USD$770 Edit : ?770 = AUD$1000, you...
