I could use some help setting Deligreene BMS parameters.

I need to. I was gonna get by for now but bring it smoothjoey! Whatcha got?

When I choose the LVD for the inverter is it safe to say “worst case scenario” would be pulling 4000 watts of load divided by 24v would be 166 amps. I don’t see ever being near that load range so I feel like a LVD like the Pro Latch rated for 160 amps would be sufficient , yes? I am not using...

So, the CC LVD should be lower than the BMS setting, correct? And I need to add a LVD (like the one you mentioned above) between the positive buss bar and the inverter, correct? And I would want to set that at a higher voltage than the BMS LVD values, correct? To make sure I...

Honest mistake really. I didn’t quite get the not “bumping” values. The BMS LVD is 20 and the CC value is 22. Is that what you mean?

Yes, I understand the “reserve parachute “ and I think I’m getting the jest of it all. Working on adjusting these now. And yes I did do a proper top balance. Thanks for your time and patience, it’s much appreciated. I’ll keep you posted.

The BMS sum hvd is 28.8 and the Cc is hvd of 28.9. From what you are saying this looks my problem. Would you say backing off the Cc a decimal point would be sufficient?

Howdy folks. So, I have a couple fault alarms from the BMS. A sum volt high (level 2) and cell voltage high (level 1). What should I be looking at to correct this?

Getting close and a little nervous! Starting to connect things any insight appreciated.

So, I rearranged some things. I also added a MRBH fuse (that thing is cool). Everything is up and running. Thanks for the help folks.

Hey everyone. They folks at Current Connected have been so helpful. They answer the phone, they answer questions and they return phone calls. Their stuff is top notch. And as of today my I’m harnessing the sun’s energy! Thanks to all

Ok, seems like these are perhaps the factory default settings. I just spoke with Dexter (what a helpful dude) and he is sending me his settings. I will reset those shortly. So, the low voltage disconnect on the inverter disconnects if the battery falls below 19.6 per the manual. Is that...

I could use some help setting Deligreene BMS parameters.

Well, wouldn’t I be avoiding this with the parameters with my mppt. If I set the low voltage disconnect to 25a the inverter should never be near it’s disconnect limits should it? I hope I’m understanding these questions? Ummm! I’ve screwed with all kinds of stuff. How do I get back to...

I could use some help setting Deligreene BMS parameters.

I have a Giandel 24v 2000/4000 surge inverter and a 24v to 12v converter. I’m running an Iceco 60l fridge freezer, diesel heater, water pump, a couple of led strips, I charge a few tool batteries, a maxx fan and cell phones and computer. The SCC is my only charge source. The error I’m getting...

Low voltage disconnect strategy? Do you mean my mppt? It is a Epever 40a 4215. That would be my next question. When I go to user set parameters and try to set them manually (per Will Prowse’s suggestions for longevity) I get a para. Error and it will not let me enter them. So, I need help...

I could use some help setting Deligreene BMS parameters.

I’m working on a 24v mobile system. I built a 8s with Eneramp 3.2 cells, for a 24v back. I have top balanced (that was exciting) the pack with a bench top power source and installed the Deligreene 24v 200a BMS. My question is: how to I determine the best parameters for longevity? I have a...

Getting close and a little nervous! Starting to connect things any insight appreciated.

Thank you. This exactly what I needed. It’ll take me a minute to digest this info and I will give everyone an update. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my questions. I’m already feeling less overwhelmed and that helps tremendously!

So, I am working on a 24v system in my van. Here are some photos and then a run down of what I have done and a few questions.I have a Tracer 24v 40a SCC, a Giandel 24v 2000w inverter, 24v to 12v converter, a 12v fuse block. I have installed a 100amp main fuse. Going to the SCC I have installed a...

    Charging stalled? 24v Lifepo

Thanks everybody! My batteries are now top balanced! I continued in series and painstakingly watched the voltage climb but climb it did. The BMS cut off when a single cell reached 3.65, as expected. Then I connected in parallel and followed the tutorial linked above. I followed the...

    Charging stalled? 24v Lifepo

So, John. Are you saying to keep going in series with the BMS until one of the cells reaches 3.65, then connect them in parallel to balance with the power supply set at 3.65. If so, would the cells need to rest before balancing with the power supply?

    Charging stalled? 24v Lifepo

Thanks a lot folks. I feel much better I am totally new to this and was freaking out a little. Not to mention the overwhelming amount of info to digest. I very much appreciate your responses and direction. I will be connecting everything in parallel and having another go at it. Thanks Jayson

    Charging stalled? 24v Lifepo

I have two banks of 4 cells for a total of 8 cells. They are wired in series for 24 v. You are correct they are Eneramp 3.2 volt. My cells were around 40%. I connected them in series with the BMS to get them mostly charged. I expected them to go to 3.65 and the overcharge protect on the BMS...

    Charging stalled? 24v Lifepo

I meant to say 3.375. I am charging with a 10a PS and charging at 9.2 amps. I increased the PS leads to 10 gauge wire and added ring terminals to both ends. I have two 200ah cells wired in series for 24v. Should I separate the cells and connect them in parallel for faster charging? Or be...

    Charging stalled? 24v Lifepo

Whoa! I started typing to early... 3.375 per cell.

    Charging stalled? 24v Lifepo

Cool. They haven’t moved in 5 hours. 27 v for the whole and 3.75 per cell. Do I just keep waiting?

    Charging stalled? 24v Lifepo

So, I’m pre charging an 8s 24v bank in order to top balance with a 10a power supply. Thing we’re going well. The charging seems to have stalled at 26.6v and 3.325 per cell. My Daly BMS matches the voltmeter info but the Soc on the app continues to rise. Any idea on what’s going on? Thanks

    Batt go BG-8S issues

I conenected the cells in parallel for little over a day (they were was only .11’s discrepancy the begin with). I disconnected them and tested each cell. They 7 were 3.209 and 1 was 3.210. I felt like that was balanced. Did I miss something? I did double check all pins and connectors. I...

    Batt go BG-8S issues

Hello folks. First post here, although I’ve be reading for months. I have some AC electrical experience but I am a total novice on DC. So, I just started working on my 24v battery bank (8 times 3.2v Eneramp cells). The batteries arrived pretty close to consistent voltage, connected in...
