If a 100 ah battery BMS allows a maximum 80amp continuous discharge current ,would paralleling it with an identical battery increase the maxi continuous current to 160 amps I realize the battery capacity has doubled but unsure of maximum continuous draw Thanks for any help Allan

I was drilling the +terminal cell.on my 45 ah lifepo4 3.2amp. I went too deep and the cell dramatically discharged . Very hot and I rushed the cell outside and cooled it under the hose Lesson hopefully learned. Allan PS the cloud was impressive

I negotiated with seller and they have re emersed 1/3 of price and I keep the battery . I believe I can get a bit better use out of it with correct BMS , thicker cables and connections. Allan

My plates are only stuck on to terminals with a silicone adhesive How deep can I drll into terminal post to add a self tapping screw . Or can you suggest another fixing method.

Good comment, I have decided to live with it . I've stripped the battery and the first thing I noted was the terminal corrosion , I will next polish terminals and look for a better way of fixing terminals. At the moment they are held on by silicone adhesive. Allan
