Consider the ohmmu drop ins. They are 150Ah each. Ohmmu.com That’s what I’m using.

I’d really look at how many panels you can fit based on size of panel. And maximize. You might find you can only for 4 200 watt panels, but maybe you can get six 150 watt panels for 900 watts. You have a huge battery bank. I’d try and get as much solar on that roof as you can.

You can upgrade the ohmmu warranty to 10 year and the total cost on a 150Ah drop in is $1,049. So, for a $100 more you get 50% more capacity.

I’d sell the renogy’s and get ohmmu LiFePO4’s. They have 100’s and 150’s and can connect in series for a 24v system.

Makes sense. An no break is required. I can run all 12 batteries side by side with bus bars.

Working it the other way, is this digram correct as well? Each set is 12.8v @ 100Ah, wiring in Parallel to make 12.8v @ 300Ah (Breaking apart the sets helps, even though they'll be tight during install and all connected using copper bus bars.)

Deleted second pic and I think I did what you suggested in first pic. Keep it simple. 1st set is P at 3.2v and 300Ah, then repeat 3 more times in Series to get to 12.8v and 300Ah. Correct?

I'm in complete agreement with you. I did that second one as my first drawing and kept thinking something looked wrong. Started over from scratch and came up with the first diagram.

Take a look below. I believe this is correct to get the desired results of a 12v 300Ah LiFePO4 battery pack. And, in the drawing, that can all be done using bus bars, right? Thanks (Install space necessitates the batteries to be configured like this, all in a single row, thus the odd layout)...

;) Read what FilterGuy says above. Teslas, Leaf's, all EV's have a small 12v house battery. People will upgrade these to LiFePO4 to support higher end amplifiers, electronics, etc....

So, chemistry is the same, Lithium Iron Phosphate, but the ohmmu are only 4 cell. If there is a chemistry difference I am missing, please educate me instead of just saying they are different.

Definitely considered those. Haven’t bought yet, but the ones from ohmmu are the same price with 50 more Ah, so I’m really considering those since I’m only wanting two. Getting 300Ah from two batteries would be pretty nice. And for under 2k.
