youtube advertising changes (all content creators need to understand what this means)

I love how you decided to attack me when the first post to your thread basically said the same thing... But if it makes you feel good go for it.

youtube advertising changes (all content creators need to understand what this means)

Well good enough then -- I'll continue to use it despite your protests :-) As my viewing pleasure bandwith has more than tripled but yes some day yt may block these 'blockers' till then I'm good.

youtube advertising changes (all content creators need to understand what this means)

You know that to be true ?? Ads get blocked on most sites and I doubt the site actually knows about it.. works great for us folks on limited internet plans such as satellite..

Upgrading Panels - Old Charge Controller Sufficient?

You should use Voc which is 46.2 -> 92.4 (other wise I would have said 3s2p - but that goes over 125)

Video explaining my problem with my install

Maybe I can't see the pic clearly enough but it seems the new wire is 6AWG.... but I'm half blind so what do I know.

    New car...er, VanPort

If you are leery just put a blanket, cardboard etc on the panel(s) - anything that will block the sun (I use cardboard/tarps all the time). But doubt you'd have an issue anyway as Schlagger said.

Aluminum Cased Prismatic vs Fortune cells (200 Ah)

    How do you figure they are lighter ?? Fortune 100ah = 5.8 lbs, 190ah you listed are 4 +/- 0.1 KG = 8.8 lbs +/- Never mind -- got it. Fortune 17.2 ah/lb and 190ah = 21.6 ah/lb so lighter..

    Inverter in Helena Montana

Good luck with that - I've installed two systems on our ranches in MT and never found anyone that worked with "parts" (so ordered those and had them drop shipped). Best bets would be from Billings, Bozeman or Missoula but if they exist they probably are not on the internet -- just saying.

    48V Inverter Recommendation?

Awesome!! Doubt you will kill yourself.

    48V Inverter Recommendation?

Okay let us know when you are done ;-) There are plenty of cheap options out there if that's how you want to go -- but your battery need is probably only doable with used junk or golf cart batteries.

Aims 240v split 4K easy install.

AIMS has always worked well for our ranches/farms and I have zero complaints - so I'm sure you will be happy with your set up. Now for the important question: Arizona has a coast :-) ?? Did Cali finally fall of the map ?? Sorry - couldn't resist and wouldn't complain either....

You need to read the add more carefully.... It's basically to express interest and be informed when new units arrive.

Can I charge my halo bolt with a solar panel?

I don't think that's what he's looking for -- to me this is the halo bolt -> https://www.zagg.com/en_us/halo?gclid=Cj0KCQjw17n1BRDEARIsAFDHFewzKJc0lk71SdTXoHpVg12wHW-6ksa10vSUCMNt1YxL4ILreteeJSEaAnf8EALw_wcB Maybe something like this would work for you ->...

SunGoldPower 24v 6000W 240v split phase inverter charger

Please do! - They look just like the AIMS so figured same manufacture somewhere in China. When I bought my last AIMS it was only ~200$ difference from China supplier -- now it's almost $700 so was hoping they support the product.

SunGoldPower 24v 6000W 240v split phase inverter charger

Idk... ad say 48W idle, 19.3W Power save mode.

SunGoldPower 24v 6000W 240v split phase inverter charger

Got ya -- disappointing to hear as I'm was looking at these for a new project.

SunGoldPower 24v 6000W 240v split phase inverter charger

Specs on Amazon link say 48W idle - that fall's in line with what my (2016) AIMs inverter uses (52W) - so wondering if something is wrong somewhere or maybe you got a dud ??

    Phoenix...Hot Weather + LiFePO4 = Bad News...Right?

Recommended temp range is 0C to 40C (32F - 104C) but quite a few after recommending 40C will say up to 60C - 140F in parens... Battleborn has this as an answer: Yes, our batteries do have temperature restrictions. The batteries will no longer accept a charge once the temperature drops to 24...

    Poor solar performance

17 % ??? Where does that come from ?? What voltage chart ?? Anyway here are some generic numbers for LFP for you to ponder (multiply by four for 12 V system): Minimum discharge voltage = 2.5 V Working voltage = 3.0 ~ 3.2 V Maximum charge voltage = 3.65 V
  24. M

    Poor solar performance

    LiFePO4 cells are 3.2 V nominal x 4 = 12.8 V.

    MPP LV2424 mounting help

I saw Wills video on it and he showed only two mount points at the top of the unit and it seemed flimsy even then... that would be why (assuming it's all still the same) but if there are other mount points or you build your own way to mount it there should be no problem.

Any land for Tiny House available?

Depends on the area you are looking at and the cost to drill a well in that area. Lots of people decide to do their own rainwater harvesting and or water haul. Some of the POA's offer a shared well on the ranches... the lot I own is this way - 42 acres and I pay $160 yearly for water and road...

How to Parallel Balancing. (YEP 99% of us is doing it wrong)(PART#1)

Ohms law still applies but maybe one of the variables may also be subject to change.. i.e V = I*R - > V = I * R(x) for example where R(x) is an equation

ANY ADVICE FOR 100% URBAN INDOOR ENVIRONMENT (I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF MANHATTAN, NEW YORK) DESIGNED SOLAR BLINDS POWERING INDOOR LITHIUM BATTERY?

    ET Solar

I wouldn't trust them either and will never use them ... That said it seems to be quite common now days for companies to CH11 and reorganize and come back - my problem with that is it's always the end users that get screwed.

    Best 3K Inverter/Charger

Aims is pretty good IMHO... have not used the 3K one but have set up several 6K/48V systems over the years and not had any issue due to the inverter.

MPSolar 2424LV-MSD on a power trip... troublshooting.

I'd vote for #1. Not sure how your panels are setup but usually the main panel is ground and neutral bonded and secondary panels are not as they get power from the main. So if you are now turning a secondary panel into a main you may need to look at that.
