AC breaker requirements, max output vs max apparent power from utility?

Right. I overlooked the part where it says 23.6A from grid. That's like 5.4kW at 230V. That seems like a lot for a 3kW inverter.

AC breaker requirements, max output vs max apparent power from utility?

Thanks RC, So in this case that would be 3kW correct? I wonder where this 5300VA number comes from. JZ

AC breaker requirements, max output vs max apparent power from utility?

Hi guys, I have a question about AC breaker size. My impression was that the breaker needs to be spec'd for the max sustained output of the inverter. So in my case I have a Goodwe GW3048-EM which has a max ouput (while grid supplied) of 3kW. So if I add 25% I get 3.75kW, divided by 230V is...

    Fanless Noisless Quiet inverters

I can’t speak to Kehua inverters as they are not available where I live, but in the end I went with a Goodwe GW3048 EM which is a 2.3kW inverter that can output 3kW while grid powered. Quite a small unit but I’m just making a UPS for some essential computers etc. One thing I can tell you is...

    Fanless Noisless Quiet inverters

I just want to add some info to this thread because there isn’t a great deal of info out there about quiet inverters and it’s something I’m working through myself at the moment. I’m not sure where the info came from that Goodwe inverters are fan cooled, all of the ones I have seen are...

All 48V com ports created equal?

Hi all, I’m building my first system and I have a question or two about com ports. So my system is going to be 48V, I settled on the Goodwe GW3048-EM because it was the cheapest 2kW+ hybrid inverter I could find that was fanless (noise is an issue for me) Officially, there are only a few...
