I watched the video "Introducing The Fortress Power Envy 12KW". I don't think Sol-Ark needs to worry about any competition from this model. One of the things Sol-Ark has going for them is their max battery charging voltage is 63V, for the folks that still use FLA batteries.

It would be interesting to install one Tigo optimiser on each shaded panel and see if the power is better when shaded.

Just curious about dealing with Alibaba and shipping costs for these heavy inverters. Deye does sell the smaller units in 120/240 split phase, but they're not UL listed.

Signature Solar told me there was not a newer firmware upgrade available. My best guess is that the EG4 firmware and the Megarevo are identical, or at least interchangeable. Thanks for checking the firmware information.

I ran into similar problems with the dip switch settings. One the one I was using, it has 4 dip switches on the side(maybe Version 1). It appears that not only is the dip switches upside down, but also "on" and "off" are backwards. I spent about an hour messing with it before I figured it out...

The firmware in this EG4 unit is ARM V1.03.12 and DSP V2.04.12. There's no menu item 16.

That's interesting. I downloaded the manual from AmenSolar and it's almost identical to the EG4 manual. But the AmenSolar manual shows the generator settings.

Is there any settings for the generator? I can't seem to find any on the one I installed, but Signature Solar keeps telling me there are generator settings in the menu.
