Bought from Shenzhen Basen via Alibaba

121.00 for shipping, 8.50 for Alibaba fee and 312.00 for the cells. They did say grade a when I inquired. I had gotten quotes from 2 other sources that are mentioned here a lot and this was the best price when I ordered.

Warning About Ordering This Load Tester on Aliexpress.

I would like to chine in on this company. I had ordered a tester from this company and then found this post. Instead of cancelling I went ahead and waited to see if it would come. I took 7 weeks but it finally arrived. I havent done a load test but did plug it in and made sure it powered up.

I'll try to answer all your questions. Shipping and 4 cells was 442.00. I would have to dig out my receipt. I am in the US(Indiana). Arrival is estimated at 30 days but we know it will probably be longer.(sea freight). I'm not in a huge hurry. They show in their store how they come packed...

Bought from Shenzhen Basen via Alibaba

I thought I would start a thread on this company so others can add or learn from experiences from this company. I purchased (4) 280Ah cell from Shiela at Shenzhen Basen on 6/22. Communication was very good and at the time they offered a sale price of 5% off. They do list paypal on alibaba but...

I have checked out everything from golf cart batteries to used valance batteries to building my own cells. I have decided to just wait and build my own lifepo cells.

    150a bms

Yeah, saw it didnt have low temp disconnect. Might be an option if someone doesn't need it but needs 150amps.

    Lead acid vs agm

I've got grid power in the garage so no big deal as this is just to get my feet wet. I have decided to go the liFePO4 route this fall. I will just keep my eye out for anyone ordering a batch of cells when i'm ready or I'll just order them myself.

I should also say that when I got my reading I checked at the back of the panel with a volt/ohm meter.

    Lead acid vs agm

Thanks for all the replies. Lithium would be great Right now but the surprise 3 months off work doesnt provide income for extras. I have I 80ah used battery(50.00) that I used for testing to make sure it all powered up like it should. I know I should and probably will just wait for the lithium.

    Lead acid vs agm

Yeah, i understand the 50% I would like to try to extend my aili meter cable from my shed(where the batteries are) and mount it on the garage wall to see where I'm at. I started this because I had spare time with this virus thing. Now I find out that I will not be teaching this...

Right now I have lighting in my garage(leds) and multiple outlets for power tools. My furnace will be added for the winter.

    Lead acid vs agm

For a garage project, is agm worth the extra money? I just want a couple of batteries till I understand how solar works. Then I'll work on building my own lithium batteries. I am thinking of using 6 months to understand, then before winter hits move on to building my own.

    My first attemp at solar.

I have a 1500w heat gun that I put on low. Ran it for about 30 minutes and no problems that I encountered. The fan/s did kick on after about 15 minutes and stayed on till after I turned off the heat gun. I checked my wires during the whole process and nothing got warm. Hope this helps.

    My first attemp at solar.

Thanks for the suggestion. The one is a 40amp and the other is a 20amp, stuff I've had laying around doing automotive wiring. My OCD wants to switch it to a dc circuit breaker box. See the addiction is already kicking in.

    My first attemp at solar.

So I have almost everything mounted in the shed. The only thing that needs mounted is the breaker for the panels. Once I get the panels mounted to the shed( right now they are sitting on our patio), I will run the wires for the panels permanently. The single battery is just for testing. I have...
