I am building a Solar Trailer with a Deye 5k Hybrid inverter with 48v Lithium 100ah rack mounted battery.
Problem: Charging 48v Lithium whilst traveling using alternator. I don't want to risk frying the ECM of the vehicle by using 12v to 48v charger.

Solution: Run a 12v DC cable from AUX battery to trailer via Anderson Plugs etc to Victron 2000 Inverter 12v.
Connect Victron 2000 watt inverter output to feed GEN port.
Adjust Deye inverter to say 200 watts max from generator. (Depends on alternator).
This allows for the inverter to be used for multiple purposes not just in the trailer.
This way the only charging method from Solar and Alternator goes through the Deye Hybrid 48v charging circuit and not 2 separate charging devices.
When the trailer is set up ready for use, the Victron inverter can be turned off and it will revert to solar input.
Does this sound feasible.
I know there will be losses involved.
Any comments welcomed.
I had a hard time finding anything suitable to charge a 48v lithium battery via the alternator whilst driving.
