Hi There,
I am very new at this and I am trying to piece together a solar setup. I am from a country that is served by a 230V/50Hz grid. The home is also served by 3 phase power. I am looking to only power specific loads with solar. Some of the items I want to power includes
- All lights
- 1 fridge/1 freezer
- 3 1.5 tonne split unit AC (there are 6 ACs but I am only looking put 3 of them on solar)
I was thinking of going with
- 2 Growatt SPF 5000 ES inverters
- 6 EG4-LifePower4 batteries
- 8KW solar array (we get about 6hrs of sunlight)
Something I have been struggling to understand is considering I have 3 phase power, do I still need a 3 phase inverter even though I intend to only power certain loads. I am guessing since I will be powering certain loads, a subpanel would be necessary. The intention is to have the PV and batteries as priority and the grid as a backup.
