Looking to upgrade to 24V inverter for an off grid system. Need a cost effective solution for 2000W. Giandel no longer makes the previously recommended configuration. Thoughts?

Please define “cost effective” by telling us your budget for the inverter.

Going to assume pure sign wave.
Low frequency or high?
Straight inverter or inverter/charger?
Do you require hardwire support?
120VAC or 120/240VAC or other?

After also finding the Giandel no longer available and researching quality pure sine 2000w 24v inverters I chose the Samlex PST2000 24. It has hard wire capabilities and each outlet outputs full power. Only a $100 more than what the Giandel was selling for. Top quality product and outstanding customer support? These are not low dollar inverters and have a track record of dependability. This price is almost $200 less than the usual price on these. Shipped fast from the EBay seller.

For cheap 24v my go to is the outback FX / FXR 2024 helped two friends with them from ebay $500-600, US military used them and come up now and again, same as the normal FX. however dont see any good ebay deals on them right now.

Best bang for buck is jump to 48v and go SMA 6048 still can be had for $2k

LV2424: 2400 watts, 24 volt DC, $635, inverter and charge controller

The closest I found to your spec is to stick with Giandel and go up to 3000 watts for $479. Available new on Amazon now.

If you're comfortable with open box, there's one of the 3000W Giandels on eBay for $390.
