I have 2 EG4 3Kw inverters in parallel during the day but shut one down at night to save the 600 watt area of idling power, in the morning as the sun comes up and there is a little PV output the display wakes even though the inverter is turned off and it will charge the batteries from that inverter while the other supplies power to the house system. Whetther this is true to all EG4 inverters I could not say.
