6000 watt inverter: Keep or Sell?

Have you tried camping in your driveway off the 30amp shore-power?
Suggest you try that and see if that amount of power is satisfactory.

Not feasible with my house.

I'm sure I could live with less watts if I had to, but if I can use this inverter and run at least 2 high power appliances simultaneously, especially since I'm boondocking, that would be great.

Sounds like the alterations needed to use this inverter might not be worth it.
Please post 2 pictures of your ac/dc distribution panel with the door open.
First one to show the ac breakers and the labels.
Second to show the dc breakers and the labels.
If the master breaker is in the middle you may not have to replace the panel.
Just change the wiring.
As far as the inlet goes that is not a big deal.
The batteries will be expensive run your air conditioning.

Will do...and honestly I have no intent at the present time to run the AC through this inverter, due to the battery bank requirement.

Unfortunately I'm in CA. Feel free to pm me about a trade....
Pm sent.
I think you would be better off with their 4000W 120V inverter charger. It would handle more than a 30A rv outlet is designed for, and it would be more efficient on the batteries.
also, it can sustain 12000W surge for 20Sec... easily handling microwaves and ac unit compressors.
